Apple's new 16-inch MacBook Pro expected to ship in September

According to rumors and a report from analyst firm TrendForce, Apple may be releasing a 16-inch MacBook Pro in the coming months. TrendForce notes the increase in demand for tablets, associated with the start of the new school year, and mentions the possible introduction of a new product from Apple, namely the 16-inch MacBook.

On the other hand, some rumors also mention the possibility of a 16-inch MacBook Pro launch in the third quarter, possibly in September or October. Some analysts, including IHS Markit's Jeff Lean, are pointing to the start of production of this model in September. At the same time, DigiTimes and Taiwan United News mention a launch in September or October.

So far, all this information is based on rumors, but they confirm the interest in the upcoming new MacBook Pro model with a larger screen. Rumor has it that the new 16-inch MacBook Pro will have thinner bezels around the screen to keep the body size comparable to the current 15-inch MacBook Pro.

Other speculations about the new MacBook Pro include upgraded Coffee Lake-H processors as well as a 3072 x 1920-pixel LCD screen. It also reported replacing the controversial butterfly keyboard with a scissor mechanism to improve reliability.

However, it should be noted that all these data are preliminary and require confirmation. We'll be following the news to learn more about the alleged 16-inch MacBook Pro and its official release.
