Motorola has become one of the most famous manufacturers of budget smartphones, but the last few years have not been easy for them. Moto has been unable to match the price competition from China and its devices are not very innovative. The upcoming Moto Dayne will aim to change that when it lands in India on August 23rd, via India.
One Action is part of Motorola's new "one" series of phones that highlight the features of a phone in a unique way. For action, it's the inclusion of an interesting action camera and a 21:9 cinematic display.
Motorola single action specification
Moto One Action is a thorough mid-range smartphone in terms of internal specifications. The interesting bits start with the display. We have a 6.3 inch IPS LCD panel with an optional height 21:9 aspect ratio. This makes the phone quite narrow from side to side and is perfect for using cinematic content like movies. There is a fairly large punch-hole for the front camera in the top left corner.
Keeping everything runs on a Samsung Exynos octa-core 9609 chipset processor along with 4GB of RAM. 128GB storage, expandable via microSD. In India, Moto One Action will be a single Android device running a clean version of Android 9 Pie.
In terms of cameras, the Motorola Single Action has three of them, with a main 12MP camera with an f/1.8 sensor, a 5MP depth sensor and a third ultra-wide camera that can be used for photos as well as videos. Not only that, this camera has been rotated 90 degrees, allowing you to capture wide, cinematic footage even while holding the phone in portrait orientation. Selfie camera 12MP shooter.
The battery is rated at 3500 mAh and supports 10W fast charging for USB Type-C to 3,5mm headphone jack is still around.
