Western digital made hard drive that can hold every game on Xbox game pass

If your 1TB xbox one x not enough to store all your games on Xbox to pass titles, hard drive manufacturer Western Digital has the solution - a massive 12TB external hard drive that it makes in collaboration with Microsoft.

Its official name is WD Black D10 game on disc for Xbox One and it will debut in 2019 Gamescom in Germany this week.

According to Western Digital, the hard drive can store every game on the Xbox Game Pass (300 games), which is good considering that WD Black D10 also includes three months of membership to the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for a limited time.

In terms of specifications, the WD Black D10 has speeds up to 250Mbps/7200rpm and uses Western Digital's active cooling technology to keep the hard drive buzzing for years to come. (Which said, Unless it's Western Digital gives people a three-year warranty.)

A 12TB iteration will set you back $299.95 (around £249, AU$440), however if that seems a bit excessive, there's an 8TB model that's only $199.99 (around £160, AU$290). Both hard drives will be available in the next few months.
