TCL is working on foldable phones, as seen in newly published patents spotted mobile copan (via LetsGoDigital).
The patents render that detail the Galaxy Cratje-like device, plus a clamshell phone that looks like a phone that comes out on a large display. Mind you, we knew that TCL was working on foldable phones; she even showed off a 7.2-inch foldable at MWC 2019. These patent renders mirror what was on display. Even the vertical camera module with three lenses is the same.
- Motorola RAZR foldable phone: release date, specifications, features and price
This is the first time we've seen a cot together. One patent shows several shots from the device at various angles. It looks like a typical phone - one that flips open. In addition to these patents, journalist Evan Blass recently shared an image of TSL purporting to be a "road map" product.
The roadmap suggests TSL's large foldable phone will be called the Flextab and could debut by the end of 2020. It's expected to be a more affordable device, costing less than the $2,000 price tag Samsung wants for its Galaxy Fold. It should be around €1,299, or $1,441. We don't know when the cot might launch, let alone how much, but we suspect it will also be priced very competitively.

The fact is that TCL is known for budget TVs, not phones. Who wants to buy TCL in a phone? Only time will show.
