Android 10 release date prematurely revealed by Google Support Agent

A Google customer service representative may have revealed the launch date for the next major update to Android ahead of schedule.

Google recently announced Android M called Android 10, but it hasn't said when Android users will get the update on their phones. Considering Android update releases from years past, including last year's Android-P or Android 9 Pie update, which originally rolled out for Pixel devices on August 6th, then the final Android version 10 should already be available on Pixel hardware.

That said, it looks like Pixel phones may be receiving updates soon. During a chat with an Android user (who later shared screenshots with phonearena), Google Support has reportedly confirmed when Android 10 will be available. The user mentioned that they owned the Pixel 3A, and the rap responded: "I would like to inform you that Android M will be rolled out to the device from September 3rd."

Does this mean that all Pixel phones, including Pixel 3 and 3 XL, Pixel 3A and 3A XL, Pixel 2 and 2 XL, and the original Pixel and XL will get Android 10 on September 3rd? We assume that this is the case, but it also means that we will be assuming Alexander, Googled support for reputation, is correct. PhoneArena said it is not only the Google Support agent to confirm the date via chat, however.

Keep in mind Pixel 4 is expected to launch with Android 10 preloaded sometime next month in October.
