Huawei Mate 30 full lineup leaks days before launch

The Huawei Assistant Series 30 will go official later this week on September 19 in Munich, Germany. Even with only a few days left to start, we are still getting more leaks and images about these phones.

Mate series is Huawei's leading companies, which is usually equipped with the latest chipset borrowing some pictures of prowess from the corresponding P series.

The Huawei Partner 30 series will see the debut of the new Kirin 990 chipset, at least in the top models, which include the Mate 30 Pro, Mate 30 Porsche Edition and Mate 30. Mate 30 Lite is also expected to hit the scene. Notable leakster Evan Blass has shared additional images of the phones, giving us a better look at what to expect.

Huawei Mate 30 Pro

Leading this year will be the addition of the 30 Pro, which will be a performance and photography powerhouse, thanks to the 7nm chipset+ powerful Kirin 990. On the back, we see a quad camera setup and should be similar to the Huawei P30 Pro, most likely composed of a 40MP Sony IMX600 core camera with f/1.6 aperture with sub-pixel RYYB arrangement. Which will pair with an ultra-wide and 3x telephoto (not periscope) lens. The last sensor must be a TOF depth sensor.

Ahead, Mate 30 Pro Sports ~6.7-inch curved “waterfall” AMOLED display with full HD+ resolution, starting from the extremely curved smartphone display revolution. The display has large notches on top, but that's to enable 3D face unlock. The Mate series has always been known for its great battery life, and the Spouse 30 Pro is also expected to ship with more than 4 mAh batteries with support for supercharging and wireless charging.

Huawei Mate 30

Until next, we'll be getting regular mate 30, which will be very similar to Pro, but with minor differences. The most notable changes come in the form of a design with no curved monitor in view, and significantly less notch is likely to be without the aforementioned 3D face unlock mechanism. The back panel looks very similar, but some downshifts can be expected there. Other likely changes include a smaller battery and support for slightly slower charges.

Huawei Partner 30 Porsche Edition

As in the past year, this time the Porsche Mate 30 edition is expected to be and will be a no-ban flagship filled with specs. The curved waterfall display with the face control camera array is still present here, while it's a quad-camera setup on the back.

Instead of glass in construction, the Huawei Mate 30 Porsche Edition will opt for leather trim, adding to the luxury of the device. Like a PRO, even this one will skip the physical volume rocker and implement a touch slider. The RAM and storage can be expected to be top-notch about this.

Huawei Mate 30 Lite

It's not just the premium segment that Huawei is targeting with the Mate 30 series, and the Mate 30 Lite will aim to bring the same amount of experience to the budget segment. It will likely be powered by the new Kirin 810 chipset, which is also built on a 7nm manufacturing process.

The leaked image shows a quad-camera setup that isn't seen very often in this price segment. As suggested by the punch-hole display and the fingerprint reader on the back, the Mate 30 Lite will have a Sport LCD panel, unlike its older siblings.

The Huawei Pairing Series 30 will go official on September 19th, adding to the growing list of this quarter's top flagships.

Kirin 990 is also 5g enabled by default, which is one of the first chips to do so. While they undoubtedly house powerful stuff, there are doubts about the programs on said phones, they cannot offer Google Play services.
