Vivo Nex 3 brings a double curved waterfall display in the front

It will be the season for 'Waterfall shows', with Vivo kicking off the first swipe with the announcement of its Nex 3 flagship. Huawei is expected to follow up with Mate 30 Pro.

Vivo - a Chinese giant that even before launching a phone in Europe or America - announced its 6.89-inch smartphone at an event in Shanghai, China, showing off a dual curved screen.

Think-curves are like a waterfall over a cliff, taking the image beyond the visible edge to an apparently bezel-free edge. This means that there is no physical volume/power button or, instead of a pressure-sensitive section under the screen, it provides tactile feedback.

But that's not all, the Nex 3 comes with a bunch of other features too. There's a triple camera arrangement at the rear that houses a 64-megapixel main sensor, while a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus and 12GB of RAM keep things running smoothly.

A 5G variant will be available in addition to the 4G model, demonstrating worldwide growth in interest in next-generation connectivity.

So when will we see the Nex 3? This is a difficult question to answer. While the company has confirmed that it is launching in the Asia-Pacific region, the world is still waiting for more news. We know that he wants to build his way into the global market, but these are small steps at the moment.

We should see Nex 3 on the eve of the official presentation in China. Find out what we're made of it at the link below:
