Uh, what happened to the Samsung Galaxy home smart speaker?

Remember Samsung's Bixby-powered Galaxy home smart speaker? Not? This is probably because even before launch.

According to facets, was supposed to be released by the end of this year in the third fiscal quarter. And, about five months ago, Samsung Electronics CEO Hyun-Sook Kim noted the speaker will arrive at “mid-second half of the year«.

It's now October, and Galaxy House is still missing.

Keep in mind that this is a speaker that was announced over a year ago, originally had an early 2019 shipping date. What happened in April, and what happened later this year. In other words, it has been delayed several times and at this point, we would like to know if there are any technical issues affecting it, kind of like an Apple canned air force mat because it doesn't work properly or meeting expectations.

But, this smart speaker is something that everyone - including Amazon, Google and Apple - has been able to develop and launch with no problem.

Let's also not forget that Samsung introduced a new home speaker phone, the Galaxy Home Mini, this past summer, and never once mentioned the original speaker during its announcement. Currently select Galaxy smartphone owners in South Korea beta testing Galaxy Home mini.

So what's the deal. What happened in the house? Your guess is as good as ours.

We have contacted Samsung for comment. Keep for updates.
