Updated Honda Civic Gets Design And Interior Tweaks

2020 Civic 1 Refreshed in Britain hatchback to arrive next year with new grille

A facelifted Honda Civic, arriving early next year, features a restyled front end, upgraded interior and new color options.

There is an additional lower grille section around the fog light, while the main grille has been streamlined to give the profile a “cleaner, more aerodynamic design”. Full LED headlights are also available for the first time, accompanied by a minor redesign of the daytime running lights and honeycomb inserts that are the result of customer feedback. The exterior changes are topped with new Obsidian Blue paint, in addition to the existing colors.

The facelifted Civic can be specified with new design 16 inch alloy wheels for the entry level model. The mid and top versions can be optioned with 17 inch wheels, available in an exclusive gray coat.

Inside, there's a new, textured panel above the glove box on the passenger side. An electric eight way adjustable driver's seat was added to the topping lineup. All models have an updated infotainment system, now with buttons and dials in response to customer demand.

The three engine options, 1.0-litre petrol, 1,5-litre petrol and 1,6-litre diesel, are unchanged.

The facelifted Civic is £400 more expensive, with new prices starting at £18,845. Deliveries will begin in January next year.
