Nyantik Wayfarer

Nyantique has announced that her Wayfarer tool is now available for Pokemon players level 40 and above. This tool allows players to view and submit nominations for Gyms and Pokéstops, giving them a say in new places to play.

Extra Storage

Tired of not having enough space for all your Pokémon? Good News: Nyantic has upgraded the Pokémon to go into the game's storage space. Now, players can store up to 3000 Pokémon and 2500 items. Unfortunately, additional capacity is not free—an additional 50 slots for goods or Pokémon will cost 200 PokéCoins.

Teams Go Rockets

A new quest and game element has been introduced to Pokémon Go and it revolves around the team and its leader Giovanni.

The quest, titled Looming in the Shadows, saw players around the world rocket and team-fight grunts and their shadow Pokémon in order to collect items to eliminate them. These elements can be combined to form a missile radar, which allows players to track the mid-management team's missile trio—the Rocks, Sierra, and Arlo, who are essentially anti-leaders—and battle them.

So, another stage of the quest has been unlocked, which invites players to complete tasks and build a super missile radar to hunt down and fight the leader of the Giovanni team. The reward for defeating Giovanni is a very tempting Legendary Shadow Pokémon.

Nyantic has posted a comprehensive FAQ that details the various hoops you need to jump in to reach Giovanni. This confirms Giovanni's new research quest will be given out every month, so you'll be hunting him repeatedly down, no doubt, in search of new legendary shadow pokemon.

In the recent блогеNyantic discussed some of the recent improvements he's made to his AR technology—improvements that you can view your relationship with your favorite Pokémon using the AR camera. Roughly named Pokémon Buddy, this new mode will allow players to see and interact with their Pokémon buddy through the game's AP camera. Even more impressive, players will also be able to see their friends doing the same thing that makes it multiplayer.

The mode will be cross-platform, meaning it doesn't matter if you're an Android or iOS user, and while there's no release date yet, Nyantic said it's coming "in the coming months."

League battles are coming
