Ghost of Tsushima Gets New Trailer for PS4 Game Direct

Ghost of Tsushima, the highly anticipated PS4 samurai action game, just got a new trailer - and it looks beautiful.

The trailer shows the scene taking place in the autumn-colored forest of Tsushima, Japan. A possible ambush, he sees the death-masked protagonist charging into a group of other samurai, with a blade and a smoke bomb in hand.

This month's state - Playstation-themed live streaming showcasing the latest PS4 games and announcements - had a medley of titles to show off.

There haven't been many startling announcements, thanks in part to a number of leaks regarding the upcoming Resident Evil 3 remake and unnamed Goose game on PS4. But even the most cursory glimpse of Ghost of Tsushima, seemingly via the game engine trailer footage, is enough to keep us satiated for a while.

There's no release date accompanying the trailer, unfortunately: just the ominous "To Be Continued" following.

We've heard rumors of a 2020 release back in June, although there's no confirmation of this as of yet. With the PS5 launching at the end of 2020, though it may be we'll see this game launch as a cross-gen title in next-gen console opens weeks or months.
