If you want to get your hands on such a device, Canon is currently selling the cheapest super printer tank, G1200 printer, for only $150 direct.
If you can afford it though, we highly recommend getting G2200 , which cost $160 (only $10 more) and gets you a scanner in addition, essentially turning it into multifunction device.

The G1200 comes with four ink tanks with a full refill of four costing around $60. You get a starter set of four bottles when in the field.
Canon claims that the G1200 printer ink replacement printers do the job of up to 30 conventional ink cartridge sets. That translates to 6000 pages black and 7000 color pages, making it much cheaper than cartridge printers and ideal for both small business printer.
On the down side, this may not be the fastest printer out there, rated at just nine pages per minute at resolutions up to 4800 x 1200 dpi, though it does offer borderless printing. Its output tray is also lightweight at 100 sheets.
So far, it doesn't solve two of the most common problems with inkjet printers; head clogging and wet paper syndrome, the use of a continuous ink supply system translates into cheaper, much cheaper printing costs.
