Red Edition Apple Watch product could be on the way soon

Apple may be on the verge of launching a Red edition of the Apple Watch product to go with Red iPhones and iPods, which it has already sold.

Charitable versions of these devices raise money for a product of Red AIDS Charities in Africa, but so far there has never been a Red Apple Watch product – only a Red Apple Watch group product.

The details of this device have been found in the Apple database by Watch Generation, with a new ID number separate from existing models before they were quickly removed.

Do what you want, but it wouldn't be much of a surprise if the Red Apple Watch product was on the way, given Apple's previous partnerships with philanthropy.

Who is watching the clock?

The Apple Watch 5 only launched in September, so it's a bit early for the whole update, but Apple may release a new Red Model product sometime in the early months of 2020 just to keep interest idling until September 2020.

It seems that any Red Apple Watch product will be priced at the lower end of the range using an aluminum body and a Red Touch iPod product color.

The cheapest Apple Series Watch 5 can be yours for $399 / £399 / AU$649, so expect any Red Edition product to be somewhere close to that. Of course, right now this is just speculation until Apple says something officially.

We're still a long way from Apple to watch the 6 Series, but from what we've heard so far, it may come with new microLED display technology, longer battery life, better water resistance, and more reliable connectivity. Who knows, maybe even come in red.
