Xiaomi Poco X2 with 8GB RAM and Android 10 spotted on Geekbench score

Xiaomi by Pocophone makes the rounds on the internet once again, as the new announcement in Poco X2 has been seen on the number of points in Geekbench. The successor to one of the most popular phones in 2018 has yet to be officially announced, however the company is carefully keeping it under wraps.

Just a few days ago, trademark applications were filed by Xiaomi in China for Poco F2, indicating a possible announcement. That being said, the score in the Geekbench listing refers to the successor, like the Roco X2, running Android 10 with 8GB of RAM. The name of the motherboard is listed as "phoenixin", which is a code word we've come across before.

Last year, the codename "Phoenix" was revealed to be for the Redmi K30 and given that, it could be argued that the "phoenixin" codename could be the Indian variant of the Redmi K30.

Xiaomi could possibly go ahead and launch the Redmi K30 as Poco X2 in India. Those figures for the Poco X2 and the Redmi K30 are eerily similar which only reinforces this argument.

We don't have a complete list of specifications or features about the purported successor to the Poco F1, but nevertheless, here's a brief overview of the Redmi K30.
