Huawei P40 design revealed in hands-on image leaked prototype

Huawei plans to debut its next flagship series, the P40, later this month, and another report has already shared a hand-on image of the P40 prototype.

DigitalTrends latched on to the prototype unit, though he wasn't able to test the phone's software and cameras or even show up on the screen. In fact, the report also failed to confirm any of the phone's features and specifications. So we basically just look at the design of this leak.

Huawei's P40 reportedly has the same dimensions as last year's P30 Pro, although it's slightly thicker. It also features a curved glass body with a curved display and rounded corners and a reflective glossy paint finish. The back of the phone also packs. a triple camera setup that includes a periscope, an ultra-wide lens, and a 52-megapixel main camera. There's also a TOF sensor on the side for depth maps, plus a flash and microphone.

Other features include physical volume and power buttons, a Type-C port, and a speaker grille. There are no headphones. For more Huawei P40 P40 and even leaks and images, see Pocket-Linta Rumor Roundup here.

Huawei has confirmed that the P40 series will be announced on March 26 at an event in Paris. The confirmation came directly from Richard Yu, CEO of Huawei Business Group, KTM 2020 report.
