You might not think that Apple is a headphone company, but it makes simple headphones, wireless AirPods, and AirPods Pro, and it owns the beats. Now it looks like he may be launching another headphone product, rounding out his growing portfolio.
Website 9to5Mac Noticed two icons representing light and dark versions of Apple's high-end headphones in the leaked iOS 14 code. Several Apple and Beats headphones - including the AirPods Pro Overhead PRO, and the upcoming Overhead 4 - have been leaked, as has been the case in the past. It should be clarified that these upcoming headphones are supposed to use the Apple brand and will be presented as more expensive headphones.

Dear Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo was the first to claim Apple is working on a pair of over-the-ear headphones. He even called them "as convenient as AirPods with better sound quality", which makes us wonder if they will feature Apple's P1 chip, which is also found in AirPods. They reportedly might also offer an easy pairing process and an auto-pause feature when you remove them.

And for those of the recently leaked icons, they're actually symbols that Apple uses to indicate the battery and volume levels of connected headphones in iOS and iPadOS. 9to5Mac found both light and dark icons, which means Apple may offer two color options for the headphones.
AirPods and AirPods Pro are currently only available in White.
Otherwise the icons don't reveal too much. Said 9to5Mac on iOS 14 code since December and noted that the program is not expected until the fall. So maybe we'll see Apple's headphones debut alongside the next generation iPhone.
Mind you, Bloomberg recently stated that Apple is targeting the "second half" of 2020 for a potential release.
