This is the best value 2-in-1 convertible laptop on the market

2-in-1 laptops have been around for almost a decade now, and after a series of experiments - mostly conducted by Lenovo and Dell - the dust has settled on the form factor accepted in most convertible devices today.

The Ramos F6 Plus, one such device, isn't the cheapest on the market, but it's probably the best value for money.

At $360 at Banggood (around £280/AU$550), it packs what we think is the optimal memory/storage combination for Windows: 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

Throw in a gorgeous 13.3-inch Full HD IPS display, an aluminum alloy chassis and an optional stylus and you have a very well balanced product.

When we reviewed the F6 Plus, we really liked its excellent build quality, great keyboard, large touchpad, and the fact Ramos opted for an SSD rather than an inferior Emms. It also sports a microSD card reader and a micro HDMI port, as well as a Type-C connector.

Its weight - no more than 1,6 kg - means that it is also a good candidate for mobile presentations in tablet mode. Although, in truth, this is more of a temporary solution handy in case of an emergency.

The F6 Plus is let down slightly by its processor - a quad-core Intel Celeron N4100 - and a battery life that is less than three hours (with YouTube games at 100% brightness and all power saving features disabled).
