More information about Google's regular smartphone pixel, considered to be pixel 4a, has been leaked to the Internet.
Google launched the Pixel 3A in Google I/O 2019, and after the cancellation of Google I/O 2020, there has been confusion as to when the successor phone, the Pixel 4A, might debut. It is still unclear, in the middle of the range the device itself begins to better navigate, courtesy 9to5Google website.
The Pixel 4a is said to definitely have that name, and it will come with a 5.81-inch OLED display with an FHD+ display and 2340 x 1080 pixels. The upcoming phone will have a 12.2-megapixel autofocus rear camera with OIS/EIS image stabilization, as well as a punch-hole front camera that should boast an 8-megapixel sensor with an 84-degree field of view.
Other features include a 3,080 mAh, 6GB RAM, 64GB and 128GB storage options, an over Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 system-on-a-chip processor. It will have a USB-C port capable of 18W fast charging, but it won't have Qi wireless charging. Finally, the Pixel 4a should be equipped with a 3.5mm headphone jack and a plastic body that will only come in black or barely blue.
Mind you, this is expected to have a starting price of $399, so it's not a high-end device, but it's a Google phone and will run stock Android. Therefore, you will have access to updates first and are equipped with useful Google features such as "night vision".
Pixel 4a was originally set to be revealed during an I/O in May, but this was canceled due to the epidemic. It is unclear when the phone will be announced. Google may be waiting for a better time, or it may be hosting online events.
