Very often there are situations when it is necessary to reformat a jpeg or png image into another format or pdf document. Of course, there are many online services that are ready to help us, but not everyone, for example, is ready to upload their documents to any "left" online services.
This is a short guide that will allow you to reformat an image to any format you need using the GIMP program.
First you need to open your image (file) in the program. This can be done in several ways. If you already have the program installed, then using the context menu of the file (as shown in the picture):
Select "open with"
Or in this way - open the program and use the menu File → Open
After we have selected the image, we turn to the same menu and select File → ExportAs
In the window that appears, open the list of formats and select the required one:
Also at the top of the window, we can select the folder where we want to save the image. After pressing the "Export" button, the format change will be performed.
