ARC Raiders system requirements in a table
The table is based on Embark Studios’ help center (all three tiers and performance targets). The DirectX and network rows appear only on Steam’s page, so they are left blank for Epic.

What two official sources say about the requirements
Steam’s page shows the minimum and recommended tiers without FPS targets, but adds DirectX 12 and a broadband connection. Embark’s help center describes three tiers, with a settings and frame rate target for each, but doesn’t mention DirectX or networking. The hardware figures match between the two sources: the minimum and recommended tiers are the same.
Neither source lists a disk size, so check the exact install size in Steam before you download. The FPS targets are Embark’s benchmarks for each tier, not a guarantee on every build.
How to check your PC
Three checks in Windows cover every row in the table. The steps are based on Microsoft’s help: device information and the DirectX diagnostic tool.
Install all Windows updates
Embark requires 64-bit Windows 10 or later with the latest update. Check for updates in Settings → Windows Update, and find your system bitness in Settings → System → About, under “Device specifications.”
Result: The system is up to date, and you can check the rest.
Check your processor and RAM
The same “Device specifications” section lists your processor and installed memory. The minimum requires 12 GB, and the recommended and Epic tiers require 16 GB.
Result: You know the processor model and the amount of RAM.
Find your graphics card model
Press Win + R and type dxdiag: the Display tab shows the graphics card, and the System tab shows the DirectX version. The name is also visible in Task Manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc) on the Performance tab. Find your model in the table columns: if it’s weaker than the GTX 1050 Ti, RX 580 or Arc A380, the minimum isn’t met.
Result: You know the graphics card name.
What to do if your PC is weaker
- Start with the minimum target. Embark defines the minimum as low graphics settings at 1080p. If your PC is at the edge of the minimum, set the low preset and 1080p, then raise settings one at a time.
- Use resolution scaling. For the Epic tier, Embark specifies Quality scaling, so that setting exists in the game. You can change it and the preset first, without touching the hardware.
- Check updates and drivers. The game requires the latest Windows update. If the game crashes or loads too slowly, the “Technical” section of Embark’s help center has articles on installation, loading, crashes and processor instability.
- Memory is a separate threshold. The minimum needs 12 GB of RAM, and the other tiers need 16 GB. With 8 GB, no tier is met.
- If you plan an upgrade. See graphics cards and processors; for a laptop, see affordable gaming models.
